Gooseberry is known to increase the immunity of our body. It contains vitamin C, fatty acids and is a storehouse of antioxidants all of which helps in strengthening our hair follicles and improves the supply of blood to our scalp thus helping in curbing hair fall and stimulating hair growth.
Shikakai is rich in vitamin C, A, E and K. It helps in soothing our scalp, treats dandruff, acts as a mild yet effective cleanser, therefore, removing excess sebum and dirt from hair follicles. It helps in providing shine and lustre to our hair and also reduces hair fall.
2 tablespoon gooseberry powder
2 tablespoon shikakai powder
3/4 cup lukewarm water
How to use
Mix all the three ingredients together to form a smooth paste. Apply it on your scalp for 45 minutes. Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.

4 tablespoons yoghurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
How to use
Wisk the yoghurt thoroughly to remove lumps and add olive oil to it. Apply this hair mask for 1 hour and then rinse your hair thoroughly.
Homemade Hair Mask 3: Avocado, olive oil and honey hair mask
Avocados are rich in amino acids, proteins and vitamins that help in nourishing and rejuvenating our scalp. The Vitamin E present in avocados helps in fighting free radical damage and helps in keeping our hair healthy, nourished and frizz-free.

Eggs are packed with nutrients. It contains biotin which is known to provide strong and lustrous mane. Green tea is rich in antioxidants thereby providing deep nourishment to the hair follicles and prevents breakage.
2 egg yolks/egg whites
2 teaspoon green tea
How to use
People with oily hair should use egg whites while people with dry hair should use egg yolks. Whisk the egg white/yolk depending on your hair type and add green tea to it. Apply this to your hair and let it stay for 45 mins. Wrap a shower cap around your hair to prevent the smell from bothering your nose. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and lukewarm water.
