Usage of MAC Prep+Prime Skin Base Visage Primer
Smooth evenly all over the face or to the desired areas after moisturizer (right before foundation) with fingertips, sponge or brush.
This face primer has a white gel-like consistency that is extremely lightweight. It is devoid of all kinds of fragrance. I have mentioned that this primer will suit nearly all skin types. One must make sure just to use a small amount of it. I always prefer a dewy makeup look and this primer is the base step in helping me to achieve that dewy skin. It naturally blurs out my large pores and fades my nasolabial folds. My mom even uses it and it considerably hides her fine lines.
This primer helps in evening out skin tone and upon touching your skin would feel feather-soft. It truly creates a perfect base for the foundation to glide on effortlessly onto the skin.
I have a combination skin type and it does not make my skin oily or shiny(very common if you have an oily T zone and opting for dewy makeup look). This primer by MAC helps in achieving that airbrushed skin that looks photo-ready. It is white in colour and has diffused shimmer particles. But once you apply it on your face it does not leave behind any white cast or highlight shimmer particles. It imparts a soft dewy and healthy look to the skin.
We all know that primers tend to increase the wear time of the foundation and it stands true for this primer too. During winters its a boon for people who have dry skin. As I said this primer caters to all skin types. Overall one of the best primers that I’ve tried till now. I did not face any breakouts as it is non-acnegenic and oil-free. I am soon going to place my order for this gem before I run out of it.
