Matra Vitamin C Serum Review- Vitamin C for beginners
Vitamin C is my favourite and the only active that I’ve incorporated into my skincare routine. Vitamin C is extremely beneficial for skin brightening. It helps in warding off wrinkles by fighting against free radical damage. Vitamin C also helps in fading acne scars, blemishes and promote an even-toned skin. Today’s post is going to be about Matra Vitamin C serum review. It is one of their best selling products.
Matra is an environmentally conscious sustainable ayurvedic brand that formulates its products using the resources that nature provides us. This Vitamin C serum by Matra is enriched with Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E. This ensures that the skin remains hydrated and youthful. The amalgamation of these two ingredients increases the potency and efficacy of the Vitamin C serum. This serum claims to brighten the complexion, enhance the glow and delay ageing. So let’s get started with the review of this Vitamin C serum by Matra.
About Matra Vitamin C Serum
The Matra Vitamin C serum comes in an amber coloured glass bottle. It comes inside a cardboard box that mentions all the details regarding the product. It has a dropper along with it. The Matra Vitamin C is a superior quality serum with ethyl ascorbic acid, therefore, making it highly stable and beginner-friendly. Ethyl ascorbic acid is very effective in boosting collagen synthesis. This serum has a very citrusy fragrance but not too overpowering. The consistency is watery and gets absorbed into the skin quickly.
I have been using this serum for more than 14 days after cleansing and toning my face. This vitamin c serum is enriched with the goodness of hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. Hyaluronic acid hydrates and nourishes the skin whereas Vitamin E helps in warding off wrinkles. I did not experience any purging while using it as I’m already accustomed to using a vitamin c serum. With regular usage, I’ve noticed that the next morning I wake up to softer and plump skin. My skin has a soft glow which I won’t completely contribute to this serum. But yes, somewhere it has helped in imparting a subtle glow to my face.
If one regularly uses vitamin c serum then surely it will help in fading acne scars and promote much healthier skin. As I’ve used it for 14 days I can’t comment if it has been working for my acne scars. One thing to be kept in mind while using vitamin c serum is to wear a sunscreen during the daytime. It is a very important factor which many of us tend to ignore. If you do not use sunscreen during the daytime your skin would be harmed instead of benefiting. Therefore overall it’s a good beginner-friendly vitamin c serum that one can try out. You can check this out on amazon at a discounted price.
