The Shesha Naturals Tejaswini Face Wash powder is very finely milled. Upon touching it one can feel how smooth it is without any harsh feel. It has a very ayurvedic fragrance to it. It did not bother my sensitive nose. So a huge plus point on that.
How to use?
Let’s begin with my skin type – I have a combination skin type that is slightly sensitive. I have been using it in my am skincare routine for about a month. I have even used it in my pm skincare routine many times and it does its job really well. The face wash powder can be activated with anything of your choice. Like milk, curd rose water or simply plain water. I’ve activated it with mostly plain water and at times even rose water. Upon activating it turns into a smooth lump-free paste. Mix water depending on the kind of consistency that you want.
First Impression
I apply this paste all over my face and neck. After applying it I gently massage it in round circular motions for about 30 seconds. It is a soap-free cleanser so initially, I was a bit sceptical that will my skin enjoy it. But trust me, I’m enjoying every bit of it. It acts both as a cleanser and an exfoliator. It is enriched with some beautiful ingredients like green gram, almonds, rose petals to name a few. Upon activating the texture is slightly gritty. This gritty texture helps in getting rid of the dead skin cells. It is a very mild yet effective exfoliator that one would definitely love to use.
Final Thoughts
This face wash powder helps in sucking out the excess oil from my T zone. Also, I’ve noticed it helps in controlling oil production for a few hours. Post washing my skin feels squeaky clean. Being made with all-natural ingredients I did not expect that it could impart a glow to my skin. And the glow lasts for up to a few hours which is really commendable. My skin feels quite refreshed after using it.
With regular use, I can say that it has helped in fading my acne scars. Although I won’t give the complete credits to this product only. Because of the fact that I’m using multiple skincare products for that purpose. Although being a mild exfoliator it did not strip the natural oils from my skin. It did not make my skin dry or stretchy. This powder cleanser has definitely helped me in getting rid of my surface whiteheads.
