Hello beauties,How have you all been? After a tiring week, I’m back to the grind with yet another product experience. I’ve come up with The Body Shop Drops of  Youth Concentrate Review.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate Review

I have used this serum in my am and pm skincare routine for more than 2 months. I use it after thoroughly cleansing my face and applying a toner. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving behind any sticky or greasy feeling. I even use a moisturizer after applying it and my skin does feel super moisturised after using it. Continuous usage of this serum has made my skin soft, smooth and supple.

Some of the beautiful ingredients in it are glycerin that helps in moisturising the skin. Sodium Hyaluronate is a humectant and a mini version of hyaluronic acid that moisturises the skin and keep it hydrated. Salicylic acid and benzoic acid present in it helps in treating skin inflammation and redness. Whereas adenosine has proven anti-wrinkle benefits due to its ability to energise skins surface so it looks smooth and young. The amalgamation of 3 stem cells makes it highly potent in giving a brightened effect to my skin.

I have minor laugh lines and wrinkles under my eyes and it did NOT help in fading them. Neither did it cause any reduction in my acne scars. It has an overpowering fragrance but it did not cause any breakouts. It claims to be suitable for sensitive skin but I would always recommend you to do a patch test because of the presence of alcohol and fragrance into it. Overall it’s a good moisturising serum that gives a soft skin. But I didn’t find anything WOW about this product considering the price factor.

Pros

The amalgamation of 3 stem cells makes it a little more effective
Makes skin soft, smooth and supple
Gives a brightened effect with continuous use
Absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky feeling
Have beautiful ingredients incorporated into it
100% vegan

Cons

Has a strong fragrance
Did not fade laugh lines and under-eye wrinkles
Did not fade acne scars

Final thoughts

Overall it’s a good serum that provides a supple effect to the skin. But there’s nothing amazing about this product.
