Sunscreen is undeniably the most important step in one’s skincare routine. Even if you apply hundreds of high-end products, and skip your sunscreen application all your efforts would go down the drain. To be precise sunscreens are the oxygen for our skin. They protect your skin from sun damage. The sun produces energy in the form of UVA and UVB rays. If exposed to these rays for a longer duration, your skin becomes susceptible to premature ageing, sunburns, pigmentation and even skin cancer. This formulation is deeply moisturising and intensely nourishing due to the presence of low molecular HA. It is a broad-spectrum, fragrance-free and chemical sunscreen with an SPF50+++ UVA/UVB Protection. Just as the name suggests its consistency is like an essence-lightweight and lotion like. This sun essence is extremely lightweight and gets quickly absorbed into the skin. Unlike other sunscreens, it does not leave behind a white cast or neither does it cause pilling. Soon after application, my skin feels extremely soft and nourished.

This sun essence contains a stabilized form of micro vitamin C and E complex capsules. Upon exposure to the sun rays, these microcapsules melt. Eventually resulting in the immediate activation and absorption of these vitamins into the skin. Thereby revitalising your skin. I can see an instant healthy glow on my skin which lasts me all day. I have a combination skin type and this sun essence did not render a greasy or sticky feel to my skin. The Lab, being an environmentally conscious brand abstained from using Oxybenzone, Octinoxate and Octyl methoxycinnamate. These chemicals are potentially responsible for disrupting the ocean ecosystem.
